Dear all,
This is a confirmation that you are on the itp-quantumseminare list. This mailing list will now be used for all group meeting and talk announcements for the quantum information group.
If you would like to be removed, please visit: https://lists.phys.ethz.ch/listinfo/itp-quantumseminare.

Hi all,
fyi, a few people from our group have presentations (talks and posters) tomorrow at the sps meeting at ETH (http://www.sps.ch/events/) - in case you are interested. As I here, however, they are checking at the entrances if you have registered. (we can cover the costs)
Matthias.

One day I will master all the QIT mailing lists!

Dear quantum walkers,
You know you have been waiting for it. You heard rumors, had
suspicions, discussed theories, maybe joined the underground movement to
try to uncover the truth (TUMTTTUTT). Lose your sleep no longer! Here
is the plan for this year's group hike.
There will be two days of activities. You can join either or both.
*Saturday, 11th of August: Water*
Rafting in the Inn, near Scuol
http://www.myswitzerland.com/en/meetings/meeting-schedule/activities-mice/a…
I will choose a particular trip/activity/adventure once I know how many
people are coming, but I had in mind something like this:
http://www.engadin-adventure.ch/index.php/en/afternoon-trips
Note that this activity will only take 3h max, meaning:
1) we can leave Zurich relatively late in the morning (around 10)
2) you can come along even if you (or your baby) aren't fond of
rafting; the rest of the day will be spent enjoying the Engadine valley.
There is also a rope course nearby, if you (or your children) prefer
air to water:
http://www.seilpark-engadin.ch/index.php/home
The night will be spent near an undisclosed lovely place in Graubünden.
*Sunday, 12th of August: Land*
A seven-hour hike through the National Park, starting from Zernez
(2:30h away from Zurich).
In principle we will take this route,
http://www.wanderland.ch/en/routen_etappen.cfm?subcat=RegionalRoute&id=3174…
in the reverse direction.
It is composed of these two routes:
http://www.nationalpark.ch/go/en/visit/trails-routes/?trail=8http://www.nationalpark.ch/go/en/visit/trails-routes/?trail=8
National park:
http://www.nationalpark.ch/go/en/
We return to Zurich on Sunday evening.
Please sign up *this week* here:
http://www.doodle.com/y62nm8p8und3mxcd
If you are signing up for Saturday, let me know what kind of activity
you prefer.
More details to follow soon!
Best,
Lidia
