Network maintenance

On Tuesday, 9. May 2006 between 07:00 and 07:15 [1]ID Kommunikation
will do a software upgrade on all routers on the ETH network. This
will give an interruption of about 15 minutes for the whole network.
Do not touch any computer during this time, and everthing should
recover after this maintenance.

Second crash file server foostock

At around 03:15 this morning our fileserver foostock, which holds all
the home and group directories, crashed again without any reason.
After a manual reset (which had to be done in the data center), the
server is back online since 08:10. The background filesystem check is
still running, so performance will be degraded for some more hours.
We apologise for the inconvenience we cause with this.
