------------------------------------------------------------------------ Crash fileserver foostock http://nic.phys.ethz.ch/news/1148145075 At around 18:20 this evening our fileserver foostock, which holds all the home and group directories, crashed again without any reason. After a manual reset (which had to be done in the data center), the server is back online since 19:10. The background filesystem check is still running, so performance will be degraded for some more hours. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Unplanned interruption of server foostock http://nic.phys.ethz.ch/news/1147874955 At around 15:20 our print service did not answer anymore to requests. As we were not able to restart (or even stop) the print service, we decided to reboot the server at around 15:55. So this gave also a short (around 2 minutes) interruption for the file services on foostock (home and group directories).
