Avoid Active-X in Microsoft Internet Explorer

According to several security information sources there is an exploit
around for the [1]Vulnerability in Windows Shell Could Allow Remote
Code Execution which is already in heavy use on several web sites. It
will install spyware, rootkits and keyloggers. The problem exists in
the Active-X component of Microsoft Internet Explorer. So either
disable Active-X or switch to an other browser like [2]Firefox.

Security update file server foostock

We need to install a security update on the file server foostock. This
will be done on:
* Friday, 29. September 2006 between 21:00 and 22:00
During this time access to the [1]home and group directories as well
as the [2]print service will be interrupted.
