Mail server maintenance

On Tuesday evening between 18:00 and 19:00 we will replace the SCSI
disk controller on our mail server wiggis. Hopefully it will solve the
problem which forced us in the past weeks several times to do
immediate unplanned reboots.

DNS and network outages

On Wednesday evening from 21:30 to 22:20 the ETH DNS servers failed,
which caused major problems on our Network and for [1]our services.
Then on Thursday afternoon at 14:40 a router in the IFW building
failed, which cause sporadic outages on the whole ETH network until
around 18:30, when the [2]ID/Kommunikation finished changing the
software on the routers.
We would like to apologise for this outage.
