s-wave pair field correlation function in fullED

[1] I am trying to compute s-wave pair field correlation function, using full diagonalization routine for the fermionic Hubbard model. This function is defined as: P_s = \langle \Delta^{\dagger} \Delta + \Delta \Delta^{\dagger} \rangle, where \Delta^{\dagger} = \frac {1} {\sqrt{N}} \sum_{k} c^{\dagger}_{n \uparrow} c^{\dagger}_{n \downarrow} And I can not figure out how to measure this. [2] How do I measure Kinetic energy? dmrg with complex hopping amplitudes

Dear All, I'm using DMRG (bose-hubbard) with complex tunneling amplitudes, the hamiltonian being hermitian, of course. The results in simple situation is reasonable, i.e. the energy and local density are invariant by local U(1) transformation. In addition, I am measuring the ODLRO, i.e. I have the following line in the input file: 'MEASURE_CORRELATIONS[ODLRO]' : "bdag:b", However, the results are always real numbers, whereas I would expect complex numbers. Do they correspond to the real part of the correlation function? Dear ALPS user I have been trying to install 'alps-2.2.b1-r7195-src-with-boost'' version on my pc. I went through the ALPS building from source page prescription, but unfortunatly something goes wrong and I don't know how to fix it. alps installation on ubuntu 13.10

Hi all, For a long time I used alps on ubuntu 12.04 and I had no problem with the installation. Right know I wanted to try installing alps on ubuntu 13.10 and I encounter an problem that I can't solve. I have extracted alps and boost (from alps-2.1.1-r6176-src-with-boost.tar.gz) into separated folders in ~/src/. I made an folder for building. Why the default confidence interval 63%

Dear ALPS developers, According to the new Tutorial(MC-01)[1], the default configuration interval is set to 0.63. Why do you choose this value as default? If this value is meant to be inside $\pm \sigma$, it should be around 0.6827 and not 0.63. Is there a specific reason you choose this value? error bars in dirloop_sse code

Dear developers, I'm using the ALPS dirloop_sse code to simulate the hard core boson. I have one question about the error bars from the code. How the error bars are obtained in this code? Does it assume the autocorrelation time is short? I mean, is it assuming every measurement is statistically independent? Or is the code doing different binnings? Hi Michael, Thanks for checking my code, there must be something wrong at my end somewhere. I'll see what I can do in terms of the cluster. I did have another question, which is whether it is possible to extract the wave function from the HDF5 files produced by TEBD? Can this be done using the pyalps.hdf5 module?
