I am using gcc version 4.6.1 20110908 (Red Hat 4.6.1-9) (GCC) for c++ and ifort for fortran Version 12.0.0 (trief gfortran before but i got errors that some hdf5 modules are not gfortran compatible)

This all seems to boil down to one issue "Illegal term in expression", a runtime error in the parser. Which compiler are >you using?
