I am using ALPS now, but I have a question, can I add a new lattice to lattice.xml ? I did it, however, I was denied the right to do some change? What should I do ?

Which OS are you in? If the alps is installed on linux, check the file permission. If it is installed on Windows, check the property of the file and uncheck the read-only box.

The best way is to create your own file and have the LATTICE_LIBRARY parameter point to that file
