Hello all,
sorry to bother. Can some one explain the difference between ALPS of light version and full version? Since I am only working with exact diagonalizatin (fulldiag or sparsediag), is the light version one able to do the job?
Thanks, gang
Hi Gang,
in order to compile the ALPS applications you will need to install the full ALPS libraries (as you have already done). If you are interested in your own code development, then you might be interested in installing the scaled down "light" version of the ALPS libraries (which have a different software license). If you intend to run the ALPS ED code, you will need the full libraries.
Best, Simon
