Hi!
Is it possible to have a site-dependent random parameter using DMRG in ALPS? For example in every a different random value for the Magnetic Field Strength acting on the model is assigned to each site.
Thanks, Ian Felismino
Hello Ian,
The ALPS model library supports defining random parameters with the following functions that can be used in your parameter file: random() gaussian_random() normal_random() gaussian_random(0,2)
Attached you find also an example using the DISORDERSEED to have different random seeds. The example is using the dmrg implementation of the mps_optim code.
Best regards, Michele
