Hi, Justin:
Maybe you could have a look at the matlab code in this review paper:
Verstraete et al. Matrix product states, projected entangled pair states, and variational renormalization group methods for quantum spin systems. Advances in Physics (2008) vol. 57 (2) pp. 143-224

Hi all,
Does anyone know of an available code that implements the MPS formulation of DMRG? I'm having trouble understanding the exact steps in the algorithm from the papers that I have been reading. If anyone knows of even a simple code (that is for the 1D Heisenberg model for instance), I would really appreciate it.
Thanks, Justin

Hi all,
I apologize for not changing the title with my original post about this. I had certainly meant to. Thank you Lei for the citation for that paper. I think that will be perfect when I get my hands on it. I am currently having problems getting the article because the only way to get it seems to be through informaworld, but hopefully my interlibrary loan request will succeed. I can't afford to pay $800 for a review paper.
Thanks again,
