Dear all,
I'm asking about the custom measurement "MEASURE_LOCAL_AT" in the MPS codes.
For simplicity, let's consider one measurement on the ground state. From the documentation, the Syntax reads
Op1:Op2:Op3 | (i1, i2, i3)
My question is: what is the order of operation? Do we operate Op1 to the ground state first or do we operate Op3 to the ground state first? In another word, does it correspond to <gs|Op1 Op2 Op3|gs> or <gs|Op3 Op2 Op1|gs>?
Thanks! Desmond
We apply Op1 first, so it is the second expression that you proposed.
Best, Michele
