Hi ALPS developers and users,
I am wandering how can I set to measure the magnetization and susceptibility in using DMFT Hubbard Model. Especially how to set the operator. Thanks for any help.

Hi Zhao Wei,
the static magnetization is just (n_up - n_down), and both densities are measured. Be careful: you will need to set the antiferromagnetic self consistency cycle (check the tutorials on how to do that).
Regarding susceptibility: The current ALPS code does not allow you to measure dynamic susceptibilities (they require more general operators that are expensive to measure). You can however specify a parameter "H" for a staggered field, and you can compute the susceptibility by evaluating dM/dH. Please contact me off the list and I'll send you more detailed instructions if you're interested in trying this.
Best, Emanuel
