That means I can use alps packages directly from Vistrails, I see. I have never used Vistrails, so I was wondering if I could use alps packages directly from Python 2.7. You can use the binary ALPS packages only with the Python interpreter that comes with VisTrails. The reason is that you need to compile a Pyhton package for a specific interpreter. If you want to use it with your 32 bit version of Python then you will need to build the package from source.
