I the new version of ALPS we took care of upgrading to the new Numpy API. This unfortunately requires you to have Numpy > 1.7. I can confirm that with 1.10 and 1.11 it should work.

The version 2.2.b5 is compiling nicely on the same machine, even though there are a lot of similar warnings about "Using deprecated NumPy API", but no error.
