Dear ALPS community,
is it possible to include more than nearest neighbor exchange in the classical Monte Carlo simulation within the Heisenberg model?yes
For example the first 10 interactions (J11, J12, J13...) e.g. for an bcc bulk lattice?
yes, you just need to add the corresponding bonds to the lattice unit cell
I suggest that this would exclude the possibility of cluster updates?
Only if the interactions are frustrated.
Any help maybe including a small example inputfile is greatly appreciated, thanks a lot in advance :),
Look at the "frustrated square lattice" example. This is a square lattice with 1st and 2nd neighbor interactions.
I hope this helps
