Installing ALPS on Fedora 20

Dear alps users, I am trying to install alps on Fedora 20 and I am wondering what instructions to follow. Could you please tell me where I can find the detailed instructions on how to install alps along with dependent libraries and tools ? ALPS 2.2b1 'make' error on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

Dear ALPS users/developers, After ccmake, I am trying to make the ALPS 2.2b1. The process ends at Linking CXX executable jacobidavidson2 /opt/intel/composer_xe_2013_sp1.2.144/mkl/lib/intel64/libmkl_core.so: undefined reference to `pthread_mutex_trylock' collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status make[2]: *** [example/ietl/jacobidavidson2] Error 1 make[1]: *** [example/ietl/CMakeFiles/jacobidavidson2.dir/all] Error 2 make: *** [all] Error 2 Is it because some incompatibility of mkl library and Ubuntu's library? or I made some mistake when I generate the make file. I got stuck by this problem for days, any suggestion is welcome. Thanks. ALPS worm simulations hung after re-starting from checkpoints

Dear Tesfaye, unfortunately the current version of the code does not support checkpointing. If your thermalization time is short compared to the typical power interruption time, try this: Run short simulations with different seeds (parameter SEED=XXX) but the same input data and then average the results in the end. So instead of running one 24-h simulation run four 6h-simulations with four different seeds. That way, if your power cuts out, you will never lose more than 6h of work. Problem with WriteInputFiles

Hello, I create my own model in the model.xml file. It works when the MAXSTATES=60, but when I set MAXSTATES=100, the program is interrupted by showing a message "vector::_M_fill_insert". Complex number

Hello, My model need to used complex number. Then I wrote the value of a parameter as "s=0.5*sqrt(-1)" and I got the error message "Cannot evaluate I". What is wrong with me? What can I do to input a complex number? Thank you for your reply. Best wishes Tianyou

Problems downloading libraries

Dear alps users, I have been trying to build alps package from source on Windows 7 OS. I have been following the outdated instructions on the page https://alps.comp-phys.org/trac/wiki/AlpsOnWindows. I could not find the proper versions of Zlib, SZlib, Lpsolve and SQlite. There are links on this webpage that read "Check out the source code from <>" where <> is, for instance, https://alps.comp-phys.org/svn/alps1/trunk/wistaria/windows/lpsolve for "Lpsolve". I don't know how to download the source codes using these links. I tried to download the source codes from a trusted webpage like sourceforge.net, some of them work while others don't and I keep getting errors. Please help me.
