Dear all, I've been trying to run a code with Z2 symmetry. I've first installed ALPS by the Conda installer. The installation went well, and I was able to run test codes without the Z2 symmetry. But upon turning on this symmetry to try "mps_optim," I received Exception thrown: I don't know this symmetry group. Please, check your compilation flags. I've then found this issue on the GitHub [ https://github.com/conda-forge/alps-feedstock/issues/12 | https://github.com/conda-forge/alps-feedstock/issues/12 ] which seems to remain unresolved. Hi, I just want to say that the problem has been solved. The original model is a spinless fermion chain as H1 ----- H1 ------------- H = sum_i - t * [ cdag_i * c_(i+1) + h.c. ] - mu * n_i + D * [ c_i * c_(i+1) + h.c. ] ------------------ In mps_optim, the model is transformed into a boson chain as H2 ------ H2 ---------- H = sum_i - t * [ bdag_i * b_(i+1) + h.c. ] - mu * n_i + - D * [ b_i * b_(i+1) + h.c. ] ---------------- where in the last line, a minus appears. This minus does not influence the ground state energy, since the spectrum is an even function of D, i.e., E(D) = E(-D). Nevertheless, it would influence the sign in the wavefunction. Green function for AF XY model in SSE QMC

Dear all, we are studying the AF XY model on bipartite lattice using SSE QMC. We want to see the AF long-range order in the xy plane. Thus we want to measure S^{plus}S^{minus}. We have tried to use 'MEASURE_CORRELATIONS[Offdiagonal spin correlations]' : 'Splus:Sminus', but the code gives information that this quantity can not be measured. Then we measure the Green function, which is realized in the code. We test the Green function first using a Heisenberg model. We find the value of the Green function is always positive, and is about two times the value of S^{z}S^{z}. We guess the Green function is defined as S^{plus}S^{minus}. However the signs of the values are not consistent with a AF order. I am wondering what is the reason. We apprecieate your helps very much! Sincerely, Huaiming Guo

Questions about MC Simulation of XY Model

Issues with Fermi-Hubbard model in saw-tooth lattice

Dear ALPS Developers and Users, I am trying to implement Fermi-Hubbard model in saw-tooth lattice and use ALPS MPS for further calculations. However, I am not able to get the correct results. I have checked my custom lattice using printgraph, also it seems to work fine with the Bose-Hubbard model. It will be really helpful if someone can look into the scripts below and let me know if there is a mistake?
