"Recently performed experiments of time-resolved photoionization and Augerelectron emission with 100 attosecond time resolution are presented here. Special nanometer multilayer systems are used as XUV optical key components for these studies. Furthermore new results of photoelectron und Augerelectron spin polarization in atomic photoionization and surface photoemission and their use to determine electronic phase shifts are presented. The talk finally discusses the problem how time and phase of light incidence and of electron emission may correlate to each other."
