Title: Fundamental Open Questions in Particle Physics and their Impact on Cosmology

Abstract:

Despite the impressive success of the Standard Model of Particle Physics fundamental questions remain unanswered, like for example the origin of mass, unification of fundamental forces and the apparent matter-antimatter asymmetry in the present Universe. Future experimental prospects in answering these questions and their impact on Cosmology are discussed. This will illustrate the fact that Particle Physics and Cosmology have become closely linked - both theoretically and experimentally.
