Dear all, For those interested in discussing the AI and task distribution of chapter 4, I would like to meet in person (or hybrid) on Friday 4.10 at ETH. I will be there because this week this is the only day I can go to Zürich and take advantage of Jens visit. I will arrive around 10:00 am and be available for a meeting the whole day except from 11:30 to 12:30 when we have the WG 3.1 telecon. Thursdays: LIFE busy half-day

Dear all, as discussed today, we decided on the logistics of LIFE@ETH busy half-day: When Every Thursday from lunch until end of work Where In the COPL common area on G-Floor (Corinna offered us to experiment with this space for this week, it gives us the opportunity to do break-out discussions in the LIFE room and focused work in the green cubicles). What A co-working session in the spirit of the LIFE busy-week, a space to discuss and make progress. Chapter 2 Debrief + Action Items

Hi all, I'm entering the contest on how many 'when2meets's we are able to send in one week! I would like to set up a meeting on Chapter 2 for everyone who is interested for next week, in order for us to debrief the discussions from our Busy Week and decide on a set of Action Items that should have priority over the coming months. The goal would be to have a list of Action Items on the Kanban Board that we agree to work on and the progress of which we keep track off. Please add suggestions for Action Items either in the Overleaf or directly on the Kanban Board to give us a good basis for discussion. Chapter 2 x Chapter 4 meeting

Dear all, as promised, this is an email to set-up a common discussion between Chapter 2 and Chapter 4. The background for this discussion: So far, most mission requirements and key design parameters have been derived from a science objective / requirement that had the form of ‘first blindly search and identify X many targets belonging to certain category and them characterise them all w.r.t. certain features’. From what I understood last week, in addition to such objectives Chapter 2 will be formulating new science objectives that might use very different approaches and concepts. We will have to discuss how these can be picked up in Chapter 4. For the goals of meeting I would suggest (but feel free to suggest something else entirely): - Present (not discuss!) the current state of the science objectives. Be as concrete as possible in how the ‘experiments’ could be conducted. - Collect to-dos that are needed to translate the new science objectives to mission requirements and key design parameters. I would suggest to keep this meeting to 1h. If we have the time we can additionally discuss: - Decide what can be done until the end of the year (what are action items, what are work packages) - Discuss if the resulting content of Chapter 4 is a sufficient representation of the changed objectives in Chapter 2. Finding slot for LIFE@ETH co-working

Dear all, I hope you had a nice weekend! For those who missed the wrap-up last Friday: We would like to implement a weekly half-day slot in which the whole LIFE@ETH team meets to actively co-work on the study proposal. To keep up the team spirit we experienced last week, we would like as many as possible to be physically present during these sessions. Besides this half-day, we will still keep the check-in meeting to track our progress (currently Monday 10am), but might move it to make it easier for the Bern-folk to attend in person. Chapter 5 discussion

Hi all, I have gone through and fixed up the brain dump of work packages we defined for chapter 5, as well as redesigning the optical diagram and implementing a new system diagram. I invite you to have a read/comment on them in the Overleaf (or send me an email). From here, I think it would be useful to have a discussion on these diagrams/work packages/action items/structure before any more work is done in this chapter - possibly an ideal candidate for our regular half day timeslot when that is defined.
