abstract:

We investigate methods for identifying reduced-order models of the dynamics generated by parameterized quantum Hamiltonians. In particular, we develop methods to characterize, identify and exploit invariant subspaces defined by a finite-dimensional Hamiltonian model and initial state. Further, by exploiting properties of the generalized Pauli group we provide some more efficient methods for dynamics generated by certain spin Hamiltonians.
