Title: Spherical cows in quantum measurement theory
Abstract: Simple, idealised constructions often illuminate the structure of complex physical phenomena. While entangled states come with many such canonical examples, entangled measurements remain comparatively underdeveloped. I will discuss their role in generating quantum correlations and present a structured three-qubit measurement that generalises the Elegant Joint Measurement, exhibiting characteristic entanglement, symmetry, and localizability properties. More broadly, this construction fits into a family of tetrahedrally symmetric measurements defined as group orbits of a single fiducial state, for which the analysis of localizability becomes considerably more straightforward.
