compile alps on cray xc30 machine
Hello, I am new to alps. Now I am trying to compile the code on a cray xc30 machine. Following the procedure on website. But when I compile by make, I always get error message "/usr/bin/ld: attempted static link of dynamic object `../src/alps/libalps.so.2.2.b1' make[2]: *** [tool/archive] Error 1" I hope some one here has experience of dealing with this type of problem and can help me out here. Dear Jia Chen, You should get support from Cray for their special machine. I cannot guarantee that this works, but you can try setting the following environment variable and recompile everything. export XTPE_LINK_TYPE=dynamic Best regards, Michele -- ETH Zurich Michele Dolfi Institute for Theoretical Physics HIT G 32.4 Wolfgang-Pauli-Str. 27 8093 Zurich Switzerland dolfim@phys.ethz.ch www.itp.phys.ethz.ch +41 44 633 78 56 phone +41 44 633 11 15 fax On Nov 14, 2013, at 11:49 PM, Jia Chen <jiachenchem@gmail.com> wrote:
