String order parameters measurements
ALPS users and developers, I am wondering in ALPS how to construct the measurement of String Order Parameter in paper: 2012 New J. Phys. 14 065012. I have tried to measure the operators independently but the result was wrong. Xiao Liang

Michele Dolfi, I am currently using DMRG. Are there any differences between mps_optim, sparsediag and dmrg for measuring String Order Parameters? Yes. From what I know, I think the mps_optim is the only application supporting “many-body operators". Something similar has already been discussed last year on the mailing list. Now you find an example in the tutorials folder in the repository: https://alps.comp-phys.org/svn/alps1/trunk/alps/tutorials/mps-example-01-str...
