alps.comp-phys.org is down?
Dear All, I have found that the ALPS website http://alps.comp-phys.org/ has not been working for the past few days. Does anyone know about the situation? Best, Synge
Dear Synge, dear all, This is truly sad, feels like the end of an era. $ ping alps.comp-phys.org PING alps.ethz.ch (129.132.89.132) 56(84) bytes of data. ^C --- alps.ethz.ch ping statistics --- 169 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 172029ms I wonder if those of us who prefer to keep the information available (I certainly do!) could/should scrap the contents still visible in the wayback machine, https://web.archive.org/web/20220308191436/http://alps.comp-phys.org/mediawi... and host it somewhere? We would need someone to upgrade the old Mediawiki to a modern version and can then host it again. ETH shut down the old one for security reasons Matthias
