Dear Members of the IDEA League Operations Board, Dear Members of the IDEA League Working Group on Sharing Research Infrastructures, Dear Members of the IDEA League Working Group on Mechanical Engineering. I am pleased to announce that Prof. Eva Olsson (Chalmers) in close collaboration with Prof. Joachim Mayer (RWTH Aachen), will be hosting an intensive IDEA League PhD-level Course on Advanced Atomic Scale Characterization at Chalmers University of Technology 12 - 16 May 2025. Applications are now open for PhD Candidates and Postdoctoral Researchers at our universities, deadline Monday 31 March 2025 @ 14:00 CET. Please see brochure attached and direct potential applicants to our IDEA League website:https://idealeague.org/advanced-atomic-scale-characterisation/ *Please help me to spread the word in your universities*. The programme is particularly relevant to PhD candidates and Postdoctoral Researchers in the fields of material science, nanoscience and nanomaterials, solid state physics/chemistry, catalysis, functional materials, materials for IT, quantum materials and 2-D materials. There are no tuition fees or accommodation fees.
